Play Junior Cricket

Our Junior Cricket Section aims to develop children and teenagers, get them active outdoors, all while having fun and playing cricket. We have a pathway starting with new beginners playing softball cricket through to our U19 team.

Today we have over 100 children and teenagers playing cricket under the guidance of trained and accrediated coaches.

If you are interested in joining a team, you can register by filling out the Registration Form - "Bli Medlem", else you can email us to learn more about our differnet offerings.  There is always a 14 day "Prova På" period,  where you can come to training and try playing cricket with us.

Our Junior Teams

We have Junior teams based in both Kista and Skarpnäck, where we endeavour to provide everyone the opportunity to train and play cricket close to where they live.  We have teams in the following age brackets:

  • U19
  • U15
  • U13
  • U11
  • U8

When you register to teams you select the age group of your child, we will then assign you to a team in the club. So everyone gets and opportunity to play, train and develop each team has a maximum of 18 players.

Playing Uniform and Equipment

The clubs uniform can be purchased from our club shop, find out more here.

To train and play cricket we expect that all players have suitable equipment. As we progress from playing with a softball to a hard cricket ball,  so will the requirements on what equipment is needed will change.

  • U8 - Bat
  • U11 - Bat and Batting gloves
  • U13 - Bat, Batting gloves and Abdo Guard
  • U15 - Bat, Batting Gloves, Batting Pads, Helmet and Abdo Guard
  • U19 - Bat, Batting Gloves, Batting Pads, Cricket Shoes, Helmet and Abdo Guard

Remember that cricket equipment needs to be the right size in order for it to be correctly used, here is a guide for equipment.
