On the first days play, the tour started well with a close game against La Manga. Where Stockholm restricted La Manga to 133 for 7, and managed to chase down the total in the 2nd to last over with 5 wickets in hand. Alex top scored with 38, ably assisted by Ashwin with 30. The next match however none of the batsmen apart from Aswin (35) fired, and we posted a poor total of only 105 all out. A total that was not realy defendable, with Jats reaching the target after only losing 4 wickets.
Day 2 rolled around, and with it the wind picked up which made bowling hard for both sides. In the first match against Shooters we posted a solid 156 with Alex scoring 51 and Ashwin 34. Unfortunately Shooters managed to chase down the total in the last over with 2 balls to spare. In the second match, our batting fired and we posted a total 181, with Ashwin (41), Stephen (38), Ayyappa (32*) and Alex (22*) all contributing. However again OMT managed to win the match with 3 balls to spare.
The final day was not good result wise, even if the sun was out. Sutton posted a formidable 204 that we were unable to chase.
