As a club we are growing with more players and teams. To coordinate the growing junior section the Board have had a plan for several years to have committee that is focused on the junior development in the club. Having a committee for junior cricket in the club was a common request by parents in our latest end of season survey too.
We are now happy to announce that we will be setting up a Junior Committee in the club.
To define the mandate of such a committee and who should compose it’s membership, the board have created a Junior Committee Charter that defines such terms of reference for the committee. The committee will be made up from representatives from each team in the Junior Section, and chaired by a Board member. It is up to each team to decide who they want as a representative, whether a parent, coach or player. It will be the committee that will have a responsibility to drive the junior section forward.
The board therefore request that each team nominate someone to be your representative on the committee. Email the board, board@stockholmcricket.se, with your nominations by 28-February.
