On Saturday the old Boys travelled to Kolsva to play against Guttsta Wicked CC. With the threat of rain in the air, it was agreed to play a T20.
Stockholm lost the toss and Guttsta decided to bat first. In the 20 overs we restricted them to 100 runs for 8 wickets. The scoresheet is a little hard to interpret, so I can’t say who took wickets but everyone bowled well, we took a few catches and didn’t bowl too many wides (I think 😊).
The chase didn’t go to plan, perhaps due to a lack of match practice and not being used to playing on grass, wickets fell too frequently and too cheaply. Where we were all out in the 17th over for 93 runs. Extra were the highest scorer for us, closely followed by Jeff who scored a dashing 24. Naveed (10*) was the only other who reached double figures.
