Yesterday in an extraordinary AGM the BCA Cricket club approved the proposed merger with the Stockholm and KTH Cricket Clubs. The new club will be called the “Stockholm Cricket Club”.

The rational for the merger is that by working together we can realise economies of scale. Within the senior cricket program we see an opportunity to field teams that have a competitive focus as well as those that want to be more social.  In respect to junior cricket we see that this will help grow participation in our children’s program.

In the period up to our next AGM in 2017 there will be a transitionary board made up from representative of the 3 clubs. The board members are: Andrew Oldfield (BCA), Karl Langston (BCA), Chenna Nali (KTH), Yasir Quadir (KTH) and Wayne Scott (SCC). A big thank you to the "retiring" BCA board members (Howard, Wayne and Jeff) who have led the club the last few years.

If you would like any information regarding this please do not hesitate to reach out to any of the board members.
