The following information was sent out from the City of Stockholm in the afternoon on Saturday 19 December:

"Most of you have probably already taken note of the authorities' and the government's further tightened restrictions that were communicated by, among others, the Prime Minister late yesterday afternoon.

The new restrictions turned out to include even stricter restrictions for all activities that are not absolutely necessary in public administration. It is very sad that we now need to communicate new and sharper restrictions for the activities conducted at the city's sports facilities.

We within the city have interpreted the restrictions and today made decisions as follows:

  • From tomorrow - Sunday 20 December 2020 - until at least 24 January 2021, all the city's facilities are closed to all organized activities.
  • This applies to all activities both indoors and outdoors, as well as for all ages.
  • As of tonight - Saturday 19 December 2020 - we will, through our booking unit, start cancelling all activities in all sports facilities. "

In summary: all training is thus paused until 24 January. Should there be any change before then, we will communicate it as soon as possible. We will also try to come out with tips and advice on how you coaches can keep your groups active during this time when we are not allowed to train together.
