Scorers' Education
In Sweden the Svenska Cricketförbundet is responsible for Umpiring and Scoring standards throughout the country. They provide training courses based on the curciculum defined by the ECB ACO. These include:
To continue your personal development as a match official beyond this initial level you need to join the ECB ACO. More information on how to join as a member can be found online.
What's in it for me?
The rewards in being a scorer are many, we as a club will support you in gaining your accreditation and certification. If you decide to become a active scorer for the Stockholm Cricket Club we will:
- pay your Club Scorers Course fees
- pay for you annual ECB ACO membership
In addition trained scorers who officiate in our 1st XI fixtures will be eligble for a financial reward.
